Summary of Role:

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations managing accounting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position promises an annual salary ranging from $100000 to $120000 contingent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including budgeting forecasting and closing activities.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory compliance across all financial processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors and coordinate audits as necessary.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiencies.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff fostering a collaborative team environment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a managerial role with a solid understanding of financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Advanced degree or professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA CMA) is preferred.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions.
• Background in a public accounting firm is advantageous.
