Location: Lakeland FL Area Schedule: Full-time (site-based)
Role Overview
Allied Reliability is seeking a contract Infrared (IR) Analyst to support reliability and maintenance efforts at a large industrial manufacturing site in the Lakeland FL this role you will deliver high-quality thermography services helping identify equipment risks improve asset performance and enhance site safety.
Youll work closely with site maintenance and reliability teams to perform infrared inspections analyze thermal data and provide actionable recommendations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on industrial environment and can operate independently while contributing to broader reliability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform infrared thermography inspections on electrical distribution systems MCCs substations and rotating equipment
Analyze thermal data to identify anomalies failure risks and inefficiencies
Develop clear detailed reports with prioritized findings and recommended corrective actions
Communicate results and insights to site stakeholders including maintenance and operations teams
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis using infrared diagnostics
Manage and execute scheduled inspection routes across assigned plant areas
Maintain accurate documentation of findings trends and completed work
Adhere to all site safety requirements procedures and permitting processes
Collaborate with reliability and maintenance teams to support predictive maintenance programs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
2 years of hands-on infrared thermography experience in an industrial setting
Level I or Level II Infrared Thermography Certification (Level II strongly preferred)
25 years of experience in manufacturing heavy industrial or process environments (electrical focus preferred)
Strong understanding of electrical systems including switchgear transformers and motor controls
Proficiency with thermal imaging cameras and reporting/analysis software
Ability to interpret thermal data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site-based environment
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work onsite full-time in Lakeland FL
Ability to walk long distances climb stairs/ladders and work in industrial conditions (heat noise dust)
Commitment to safety and compliance with all site-specific requirements
Flexibility to support occasional schedule changes based on site needs
