Job Summary

As an Electrical EPLAN Engineer you play a key role in optimizing standardizing and professionalizing our electrical design environment.

You work closely with international teams and actively contribute to the further development of our engineering processes standards and product configurations.

With your expertise in EPLAN ProPanel Routing and automation you take our design quality and efficiency to a higher level.


Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Optimizing and implementing processes and standards within electrical design using EPLAN tools particularly ProPanel and Routing
  • Structuring and applying macros and designing fluid diagrams to promote efficiency and standardization
  • You make an active contribution to risk analyses and Performance Level (PLr) calculations using SISTEMA
  • Structuring and managing items in the ERP system with in-depth insight into options and variants
  • Establishing standards for variant configuration and Configure to Order
  • Designing circuit diagrams wiring diagrams and terminal plans

In the role of Electrical Engineer you collaborate closely with international teams and support local implementations of your deliverables.

We expect from you:
  • A completed Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of mechatronic systems
  • Proven experience with EPLAN P8 including ProPanel and Routing
  • Experience with automatic schematic generation and/or EPLAN ECC is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of EPLAN standardization modularization and engineering automation
  • Understanding of production processes within electrical engineering and control cabinet construction
  • Knowledge of EPLAN fluid schematics and macrostructuring is an advantage
  • Good command of the English language both written and spoken
  • Works independently in a structured and reliable manner with a proactive and committed attitude
  • Team player who derives energy from shared results
