Job Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for academic programs and initiatives in the Management department.
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure the delivery of high-quality academic programs that meet industry standards.
- Recruit mentor and evaluate faculty members in alignment with the Universitys objectives.
- Foster a culture of research and innovation within the Management department.
- Manage departmental budgets and develop funding proposals to support new initiatives and programs.
- Engage with stakeholders including industries alumni and academic peers to enhance the institutes reputation and outreach.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
- Facilitate training and development programs for both students and faculty to foster continuous improvement.
- Conduct and oversee performance evaluations for faculty and staff.
- Represent the department in university committees and at regional/national conferences.
Essential Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Management or related fields from a recognized institution.
- Strong academic credentials and a proven track record of leadership in academic management.
- In-depth knowledge of management principles and practices.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in academic administration including a leadership role in a comparable institution.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development faculty management and institutional growth.
- Experience in conducting research and publishing in reputed journals.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to engage with industry stakeholders effectively.
