The ideal candidate must have:
A full & relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years
Experience working in a nursery
An interest in working with young children (from 0-5 years)
Team player
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to use initiative
A passion for the Early Years

Key Responsibilities
Support the daily running of the nursery ensuring a safe caring and stimulating environment for children aged 05.
Work as part of the team to deliver high-quality care and early education. Assist in planning and setting up age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and engage with children during play mealtimes and rest periods. Help maintain a clean tidy and well-organised nursery environment. Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies at all times. Build positive professional relationships with children families and colleagues. Observe and record childrens progress sharing information with the team to support individual development. Support children with personal care routines as needed (e.g. nappy changing toileting handwashing). Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the nurserys values.
