Position: Biology Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70$78/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on biology problems.
- Produce original problem sets using pathway diagrams gel images phylogenetic trees and microscopy.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs and performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Biology or related life science or MS in Biology with 3 years research or industry experience or BS in Biology with 5 years lab field or applied biology experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: molecular biology cell biology genetics ecology physiology.
- Comfortable with pathway diagrams gel images phylogenetic trees and microscopy.
- Clear technical writing skills; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
