Position: General Accounting Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50$70/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Develop long-horizon accounting tasks that mirror real-world scenarios with deterministic rubrics.
- Create transactional accounting scenarios such as journal entries and AP/AR with defined cash application rules.
- Design close processes including reconciliations accruals and intercompany eliminations.
- Construct supporting analyses with flux explanations against ground-truth variances.
- Work independently and asynchronously to ensure tasks have checkable answers and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3 years as a staff or senior accountant.
- Expertise in reconciliations accruals intercompany fixed assets AP/AR on major ERPs like NetSuite SAP Oracle QuickBooks Xero Intacct.
- Ability to read and produce accounting artifacts like JE packages reconciliations and trial balances.
- Clear written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
Preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate.
