- Developing technical requirements from reference and applicable documents and allocating these requirements to various subsystems
- Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all subsystems
- Writing subsystem specifications (TPS) and subsystem architecture descriptions
- Completing requirements management interfaces (DOORS) and contract deliverables
- Driving technical relationships with suppliers and customers including risk evaluation and validation
- Defining and performing train verification strategies in collaboration with Engineering Metiers and Certification & Validation teams
- Ensuring compliance with engineering processes and providing regular reporting and risk mitigation plans
- Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing Return on Experience (RoE)
All about you
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- Minimum of 6 years of rolling stock experience (or safety-critical transport or similar industry owning system-level requirements for a full design team) including services contract execution(mandatory)
- Technical knowledge of transit vehicles and/or Public Transportation Industry
- Proficiency in meeting validating and managing contractual requirements (mandatory)
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills including the ability to explain technical concepts and Alstoms position clearly (mandatory)
- Experience with vehicle system architecture design and testing (mandatory)
- Valid Professional Engineer (.) license (mandatory)

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $92000 $121000 CAD per year plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills experience and internal equity.
