Job Summary

Summary:
Primary responsibility is providing assistance to students receiving special education services in an inclusion classroom. As directed by the principal and classroom teacher the teaching assistant will also: work with individual or small groups of students in an instructional capacity supervise students during other activities such as lunch and assist in completing necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the requirements for a Title I paraprofessional including:

Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent and

Must have metoneof the following options:

Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 credit hours);or
Obtained an associates (or higher) degree;or
Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.

Salary:

Range for 2026-2027 is $19.57 to $30.14 per hour plus full benefits package.

Workday:
Full time/10 month (183 days) position 7 hours per day
