As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol in San Jose CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to riders visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with supervisors public agencies and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations platforms parking areas administrative buildings and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws carrying assigned equipment and maintaining professional readiness for security-related response activities.
• Monitor access points and public areas assist with crowd and traffic flow during routine operations and/or service disruptions and report hazards maintenance concerns and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
