We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an in-person school-based role. The position involves supporting students in achieving functional independence and participating fully in educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Work directly with students to improve motor skills sensory processing and daily living activities
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teachers therapists and school staff to support student success
Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
Travel between assigned school sites as required
Requirements:
Active California COTA certification
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment
