DYAD Elective Media Consultant

Third Future Schools is a high-achieving and growing network of charter schools. The networks school in Colorado SpringsCO Coperni 3 is seeking a DYAD Media Consultant to lead engaging elective classes for students.

Third Future Schools will provide student elective access through DYAD Electives a specialized experiential learning model for students. This model is designed to build critical thinking communication creativity and other essential 21st-century skills through hands-on learning experiences. Students are grouped and participate in elective-style courses that may include technology fitness arts and other enrichment experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engaging structured and experience-based instruction in media
• Develop and provide their own curriculum aligned to the elective they teach
• Independently plan lead and manage a class that reflects both their expertise and the expectations of the DYAD program
• Create a safe orderly and productive learning environment
• Actively teach monitor and engage students throughout the class period
• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations
• Ensure students are participating in meaningful hands-on learning experiences
• Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership
• Be prepared consistent and dependable in daily instruction
• Use their expertise to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences
• Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program
• Create opportunities for parents and families to see and celebrate what students have accomplished through media showcases presentations displays screenings or other demonstrations of learning

Qualifications

• Skill knowledge and first-hand experience in media communications digital content broadcasting or a related field
• Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting
• Strong communication organization and classroom leadership skills
• Ability to provide structured engaging and experience-based learning
• Commitment to professionalism consistency and student engagement

Compensation

This is an hourly position paid at $30 per hour. No benefits are provided.
