The AGCOs Procurement and Administration Branch is seeking an experiencedSenior Procurement Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement the Senior Procurement Officer will provide expert advice related to procurement strategy and planning. This includes leading the end-to-end procurement process for their assigned portfolio in accordance with the Ontario Public Service Procurement Directive issued by the Management Board of Cabinet and Supply Chain Management Purchasing Policies and Directives and established AGCO You Will Do:Provide strategic procurement advice to program areas to meet procurement requirements and drive customer the annual procurement planning process with stakeholders and facilitate execution of the finalized procurement oversight and support for all program areas of the as procurement subject matter expert on Treasury Board submissions and other reporting and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support program areas through education and communication of requirements and and coordinate all aspects of the procurement lifecycle and contract documentation including tendering process contract negotiation and execution vendor performance and risk continuously support and contribute to the development of innovative sourcing strategies and procurement transformation strategies that drive continuous improvement and value for of application of the legislative framework Ontario Public Sector (OPS) Procurement Directives policies and Have: At least 7 years of relevant experience in procurement contract management or supply chain or an equivalent combination of experience professional development and -secondary education in Supply Chain Finance Accounting Business or a related field and/or a purchasing supply chain management or procurement experience managing the end-to-end procurement process for a range of contracts including complex knowledge of procurement principles and best practices with the ability to apply them in complex and evolving knowledge of contract management principles and best or comfort working with enterprise technology systems (ERP SAP or similar).Experience supporting vendor performance and applying risk management -developed problem-solving skills to assess supply issues risks and potential liabilities and identify practical written verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and influence diverse using common business tools (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) to support analysis reporting and to work in Canada and the ability to successfully complete a criminal background check. Nice to Have:Experience conducting feasibility studies or preparing business cases to support procurement to Information Technology using analytical database or project management tools to support procurement with Ontario Public Service (OPS) rules and procedures with the understanding that there may be a learning curve for those without prior experience.
