Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Glenwood Springs CO
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule:
- Shift: 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Call: Rotating on-call schedule required
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining sterile technique preparing surgical equipment and assisting during complex cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR and Hybrid Cath Lab
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure operating room readiness
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments supplies and equipment
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support the surgical team during procedures
- Adhere to infection control safety and regulatory protocols
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA AST or NCCT) required
- Active Colorado CST License (DORA) required
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
