This role sits within the Program Management team in the SMB & Channel sales team. As a Lead Program Manager for Global Vendor Operations youll be responsible for shaping how Pinterest manages critical vendor partnerships and serve as a key operator at the intersection of operations risk legal procurement and business performance. This role will help define how Pinterest measures vendor success how performance issues are identified and escalated and how operating cadence and accountability are standardized globally. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a culture of continuous innovation and operational excellence.
What youll do:
- Establish and maintain global performance performance scorecards to monitor vendor performance quality and timeliness
- Use AI to create scalable tracking and alerting mechanisms to ensure vendor compliance against contractual terms
- Serve as the global escalation point for vendor performance issues; triage prioritize and manage resolution across regions consolidating insights for executive teams
- Lead breach management: RCA facilitation corrective action plan development execution tracking and verification of sustained recovery
- Maintain an auditable record of vendor adherence breaches actions taken and outcomes to support contract management decisions
- Run global vendor operating cadence (monthly / quarterly) ensuring clear performance narratives and documented follow-ups
- Own accuracy of vendor tracking systems (i.e. onboarding / offboarding processes supervisory orgs in Workday etc.) and drive standardization across vendor processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor efficiency and cost-effectiveness
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in business or other related field with a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience including 58 years of experience in operations vendor management program management or financial operations
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
- High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data avoid over-reliance on AI and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables
- Proven track record of building and scaling vendor networks
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing large-scale complex operations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Analytical Rigor: Expert-level ability to use data to tell a story identify trends and drive action in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex global matrix organization
- Advanced working skill set with Salesforce Tableau and MS Office / Google Suite
