Data Protection Coordinator - Fixed Term (12 Months)

About the Role

We are recruiting a Data Protection Coordinator to join a dedicated project team within Wirral Childrens Customer Resolution & Information Team. The role focuses on reducing a backlog of Subject Access Requests (SARs) for careexperienced young people and young adults ensuring requests are handled lawfully sensitively and within statutory timescales.

You will review records apply lawful redactions and prepare information for disclosure in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. This is an important role supporting individuals to access their personal records in a respectful and compassionate way.

About the Candidate

You will have strong attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive and confidential information. Youll have knowledge or experience of data protection legislation ideally including SAR processing and be able to work accurately to deadlines.

You will be organised reliable and able to approach requests with empathy and professionalism particularly when supporting vulnerable individuals.
