Job Summary
Primary function is to support the banks investor relations functions and process which includes preparing investor presentations and assisting with responding to questions/requests from external Bank analysts. Prepare ad hoc reports/analysis for senior management or for external reporting as needed.
Secondary function is to support the FP&A process which includes generating the companys budget and preparing the materials for reporting the Banks quarterly financial results. Assist with reporting variances between actual and budget results at the business unit level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare investor presentations
2. Assist with external requests from Bank analysts
3. Assist with public regulatory filings
4. Closely follow the Banks stock performance and identify/analyze market trends or anomalies and report to senior management
5. Assist with the quarterly financial reporting process
6. Assist with the generation of the company budget
7. Perform ad hoc requests (analysis and reporting) for functional leaders and senior management
8. Collaborate with various departments including finance legal and marketing to gather and analyze financial and non-financial data for investor reporting purposes
9. Collaborate with internal communications and marketing partners to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of internal and external communications
10. Perform other duties as directed
Knowledge Skills and Experience Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; BS in Finance Accounting Economics or related field preferred
2. Strong quantitative skills and analytical rigor
3. High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel SQL Axiom and/or other financial reporting platforms
5. Proficient with MS suite PowerPoint Excel Word and prior experience with financial management/budgeting applications
6. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
7. Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $70000 $80000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: training transferrable skills work experience business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
