Purpose
This role brings new business for IDEMIA through customer acquisition and offering launch.
Key Missions
We are looking for a high-impact Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth for our IST Payments Services (PS) business in India. This role demands a pure hunting mindset strong industry connects and proven success in selling technology products and solutions to Banks Financial Institutions and Fintechs. The position will be based at Mumbai (Thane) location.
The ideal candidate will bring deep market understanding strong stakeholder access and the ability to convert complex opportunities into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition (hunting) across Banks Co-Brands & Fintech ecosystems
- Build and manage CXO / senior stakeholder relationships within target accounts
- Identify qualify and convert opportunities for payments digital and technology solutions
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including solution positioning commercial structuring and deal closure
- Manage and respond to RFPs/RFIs ensuring competitive and compelling submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams (solutioning delivery product) to craft client-centric proposals
- Own pipeline creation forecasting and revenue targets for assigned territory/accounts
- Drive collections and commercial governance for closed deals
- Stay updated on industry trends regulatory landscape and competitive positioning within payments ecosystem
Key Requirements
- Experience: 10-15 years in Business Development / Sales within Technology / Payments / BFSI domain
- Strong track record in hunting roles (new logo acquisition) brings own connects
- Proven experience in selling technology products / digital solutions (preferably in payments cards digital identity or fintech space)
- Established connects with Banks Financial Institutions and Fintech players in India
- Hands-on experience in managing RFPs large deals and complex sales cycles
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal negotiations and collections
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Self-driven focused and highly result-oriented professional
Preferred Background
- Experience working with payments organizations card issuers or large private/public sector banks
- Exposure to regulated environments and compliance-driven sales
- Strong understanding of Indian payments ecosystem (UPI cards digital banking etc.)
