We are on a quest to transform the financing ecosystem by using the speed and innovative strength of a fintech with the expertise and funding of a bank to deliver a fast simple and clear financing experience to SME businesses. To support our growth towards this ambition were looking for a Python Engineer.

Your new role

We are looking for a new member to help strengthen our products and applications (microservices).

As a Python Engineer youll be working as part of a feature team on our Python and TypeScript backend components (mostly) where frontend (React) and infra (AWS) knowledge are a must. Were powered by AWS serverless products such as API Gateway Fargate (containers) Lambda DynamoDB S3 EventBridge SQS etc.

You have concrete and relevant experience in design and development in microservices and event-driven architectures.

Requirements

Were looking for someone who has

• Extensive experience of the Python and TypeScript/NodeJS ecosystem
• Good knowledge of modern Frontend JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture such as Lambda DynamoDB API Gateway EventBridge etc.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Strong experience with designing managing and working with synchronous (REST APIs) and asynchronous communication patterns (Event driven architectures)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) experience is a major plus
• In addition to technical skills the successful applicant should possess durable skills such as empathy communication (self-)leadership organisation time management and presentation skills. These are only some examples.
