Desktop Support Engineer

Sentinel is seeking a motivated and customerfocused Desktop Support Engineer to provide highquality onsite technical support for one of our clients in Wausau this role you will be a key point of contact for end users ensuring desktops and laptops are secure fully functional and supported with exceptional service. The ideal candidate enjoys handson troubleshooting takes pride in their work and represents Sentinel with professionalism at all times.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to grow their technical skills while working in a collaborative clientfacing environment.

This is a full time role located onsite in Wausau WI.

What Youll Do:

• Provide onsite technical support for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues
• Troubleshoot repair and replace computer equipment as needed
• Perform system reimaging and deployments (SCCM experience preferred)
• Ensure systems are properly configured patched and secure
• Transport and set up IT equipment between locations as required
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional presence at the client site
• Collaborate closely with team members to resolve issues efficiently

What Were Looking For:

• 13 years of experience in desktop or enduser support
• CompTIA A certification preferred
• Handson experience troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop hardware
• Experience with system reimaging tools (SCCM strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation required; role involves travel between locations and equipment transport
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Positive proactive cando attitude
