We have an excellent opportunity for a Research Associate 1 in the Bioanalytical Development department to join our position is based fully onsite at our Pasadena CA. : Responsible for contributing to daily laboratory operations in support of the identification of and development of therapeutic antibody candidates using specialized methods specific to the assigned group function or Responsibilities:Supports the development qualification and execution of immunoassays for the detection of therapeutic antibodies anti-drug antibodies (ADA) pharmacokinetics (PK) and biomarkers in preclinical and clinical to research team efforts by designing and running experiments analyzing results and interpreting data Documents experimental protocols designs and results in a laboratory notebookConducts and troubleshoots various experiments in support of researchExecute standard operating procedures Maintains laboratory inventory equipment and related suppliesUtilizes computer programs to collect analyze and record dataAnalyzes and reports data in adherence of established timelinesCommunicates data to team members as applicableMay contribute to developing SOPs and presentationsMay present data in departmental meetingsFollows all laboratory safety guidelines practices and protocolsCoordinates and collaborates on research-related tasks across multiple groupsAdheres to all department and company-wide policies regarding conduct performance and proceduresPerforms other duties as minimally requires a High School diploma or GED with at least 4 years related laboratory work in an academic or industry setting. A Bachelors degree in biological sciences cell biology immunology or a related field with at least 1 year of related laboratory work experience in an academic or industry settings. Experience in protein labelling and conjugation in the development and optimization of ELISA ECL (MSD) and other ligand-binding assays (LBA) for PK ADA and biomarker sample analysis under GLP-like conditions ensuring data accuracy and to method qualification troubleshooting and assay performance applying complex multiple cell type co-culture techniques Experience with aseptic techniques such as may be required for working in BSCs. Experience with mammalian cell culture (aseptic preparation of media freezing and thawing of cells expanding/splitting cells for in vivo implantationPrepare buffers reagents and detailed documentation including assay worksheets and experimental laboratory equipment and adhere to all safety and quality closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to support preclinical and clinical study in data interpretation reporting and presenting findings in internal Requirements for Laboratory and Research Related JobsThis role may involve work with experimental subjects and/or specimens including infected samples plus various Hazardous Materials and infectious agents (Bloodborne Pathogens or other potentially infections materials (OPIMs).
