Job Summary
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field
Licensed Engineer is preferred
At least 10 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical works inspection preferably in dam hydropower or large infrastructure projects
Experience in installation and commissioning of equipment such as gates valves pumps turbines or similar systems is an advantage
Familiarity with international standards and codes related to electro-mechanical works
Conduct day-to-day inspection of electro-mechanical works including installation of equipment piping systems and associated electrical components
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings technical specifications and relevant codes/standards
Monitor contractor activities and report any non-conformances delays or quality issues to the Resident Engineer
Witness testing and commissioning activities of electro-mechanical systems and verify results against project requirements
Review method statements inspection requests and work procedures prior to execution
Coordinate with other discipline inspectors (civil structural electrical) to ensure proper interface of works
Maintain daily inspection reports site records and documentation of completed works
