It is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention protection and preparation as well as the care custody and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. This department includes state prisons with custody healthcare and facility operations staff as well as probation/parole officers who supervised sentenced people in the community. Description of Work
The Administrative Lead is responsible for coordinating the daily workflow within the EDMS Section to ensure tasks are completed accurately efficiently and on schedule. This role oversees the processing classification and consolidation of critical legal and administrative documents while maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and departmental policies.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage workflow distribution for the EDMS Section to ensure timely and balanced completion of tasks.
Scan classify and consolidate legal and administrative documents including Judgment and Commitments Parole Commission materials DCI records and disciplinary packets.
Perform quality control reviews to ensure data accuracy and properly classify and consolidate documents in OmniDocs.
Support the Data Repair Section by adding annotations correcting record errors verifying Livescan docket numbers and processing priority cases.
Stay current on DAC Combined Records and Legal Section policies governing confidentiality and records management; assist with special projects as needed.

Knowledge of Division of Adult Correction Prisons Section Policies and Procedures Laws Rules and Regulations which
govern the Central files on all current offenders and released offenders.
Knowledge and application techniques pertaining to personal computers the Offender Population Unified System (OPUS)
and EDMS (OmniDocs/OmniScan) with a minimum of 2 - years experience.
Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in written form; and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to assist the supervisor in training overseeing work and special projects.

About the Division of Combined Records
The Combined Records sectionis responsible forthe development and maintenance of offender records and the calculation of sentences for all offenders who are incarcerated in the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction facilities. The staff at Combined Records obtain information from a variety of sources including the courts the Post-Release Supervision/Parole Commission the North Carolina Department of Justice the Attorney Generals Office and federal state and county law enforcement agencies. The section also provides auxiliary services to the Post-Release Supervision/Parole Commission Community Supervision and the Extradition Office.

Education Equivalency Verification
