Job Summary
Transportation Service Worker (Part-Time)
The Part-Time Transportation Service Worker (PT-TSW) provides safe respectful and reliable transportation to clients while maintaining confidentiality and a high standard of service. The role includes operating and maintaining company vehicles supporting basic office functions and assisting with other duties as assigned.
This is a part-time position requiring availability on evenings weekends and occasional holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments errands and community activities
- Safely assist clients with boarding exiting and securing mobility devices
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner in accordance with organizational policies
- Complete basic vehicle checks cleaning and refuelling
- Follow infection control safety and PPE protocols
- Complete required documentation and reports
- Support operational and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid G drivers licence and clean driving record
- Minimum three (3) years of driving experience in Canada
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally
- Physical ability to assist clients and handle mobility equipment
Working Conditions
- Travel required
- Required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and related peripherals
- Weekend work may be required
- Ability to lift 50100 pounds and push a wheelchair up a ramp
