Job Purpose and Impact
The Transportation Accounting & Data Maintenance Senior Supervisor leads North America Freight Audit & Payment transportation accounting and master data operations across multiple business units and ERP this role the Senior Supervisor ensures financial accuracy audit readiness and operational continuity while supporting a complex multi billion dollar transportation spend and high transaction volumes. The position balances steady state execution with ongoing system changes issue resolution and process stabilization following ERP deployments. Through strong people leadership and cross functional partnership this role mitigates financial risk resolves escalations and drives continuous improvement across transportation finance and data operations.
Key Accountabilities
Lead end to end Freight Audit & Payment transportation accounting and master data processes including accruals invoice validation dispute resolution posting and reconciliations across multiple SAP and non SAP systems.
Oversee operational performance and issue resolution across steady state environments including truck rail ocean brokerage and international transportation modes.
Provide people leadership for U.S. based teams and contractors and functional leadership for offshore resources including workload prioritization performance coaching and coverage planning.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex financial carrier system compliance and payment issues impacting business continuity or financial accuracy.
Partner with Finance Audit Tax Supply Chain IT Data Governance and Deployment teams to support balance sheet integrity controls reporting and audit requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for transportation related systems and data supporting defect resolution enhancements integrations and ERP/TMS deployments and cutover activities.
Drive operational discipline through metrics dashboards process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual work controls risk and people dependency.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience with email spreadsheet and word processing applications
Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Minimum of two years of people leadership or supervisory experience
Experience supporting high volume transactional operations with financial controls or audit exposure
Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguity manage competing priorities and resolve cross functional issues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting transportation accounting Freight Audit & Payment or logistics finance operations
Working knowledge of SAP (multiple instances) transportation management systems or financial close processes
Experience supporting ERP deployments system cutovers or post go live stabilization

- Relocation will not be provided for this position
- Work schedule:Dayshift Mon - Fri 8 5 occasional work over the weekends as needed.
