SALARY/RATE: Teacher Salary Scale

REPORTS TO: Managing Director

GENERAL SUMMARY

Serves as the coordinator and facilitator of the school-level interscholastic athletic programs. Responsible for approving physical and academic eligibility. Combines and maintains files reports and records as require.d

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all athletic programs ensuring they align with the schools mission and provide a positive experience for student-athletes.
• Develop and manage budgets for the athletic department.
• Coordinate and schedule all practices games and team meetings.
• Hire supervise evaluate and provide support and professional development for coaches.
• Coordinate and maintain inventory for all sports and supports the needs and implementation of all school athletic events.
• Monitors attendance and academic progress of all athletes and prepares a list of athletic physicals and insurance for student eligibility.
• Organizes and manages ticket sales scorekeepers gym managers and other personnel needed during sporting events and assures facility preparation for athletic events.
• Responsible for enforcing all safety procedures.
• Responsible for recruiting hiring and annual evaluation of all coaches.
• Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations issued by the school district and athletic leagues.

Education Bachelors degree in Athletic Management or related field from an accredited university program. Previous experience in coaching teaching or athletic administration.

Working Conditions Possible lifting bending walking kneeling stretching and stooping. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Inside and outside working environment.
