Intern Lab Assistant

Labcorp is seeking an Intern - Lab Assistant to join our team located in Tulsa OK.

Work Schedule: June 1 2026 August 14 2026

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm

Location: The role is onsite in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues

• Replenish test bench supplies as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Chemical or Biological science Clinical Laboratory Science Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelors degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements

• Interest in lab sciences

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures

• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts

• Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision

• Have a genuine interest in laboratory science

• Maintains professionalism including punctuality and appropriate conduct

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly

Internship Details:

• Duration: 11 weeks full-time

• Dates of Internship: June 1 August 14 2026

• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2026 through June 2028 graduation)
