Job Description

Mater Dei High School a Catholic co-educational college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an opening for a Choral/Vocal Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Position will start on August 3 2026.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Choral and Vocal Music the Choral/Vocal teacher supports the instructional operational and performance needs of the Choral and Vocal Music Program. This position provides classroom instruction co-teaching and vocal support for choral ensembles; may serve as sole teacher for designated instructional days and assigned courses (AP Music Theory and Handbells if offered); and assists with sectionals voice lessons and substitute coverage as needed. The role also supports the administrative coordination of program events trips budgets communications materials and performances while advancing the mission and values of Mater Dei High School.

Education: Bachelors degree in Music Music Education or a related field along with a California Single Subject Teaching Credential required; Masters degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of 1 year teaching in Music Education.

Certifications: CPR certification required.

Range: $51444-$62888 based on education and years of teaching experience.
