Sr Financial Analyst, Operations Finance

Amazon is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to help lead and oversee critical functions within this rapidly growing organization.

This Sr Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for partnering with the business supporting decision-making financial modeling controllership and operational cost controls. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various retail transportation and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and lead cost improvement efforts for operations. The Sr Financial Analyst will also conduct variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the financial planning process (fixed costs variable costs and CAPEX) including quarterly and annual business reviews as well as closings and reporting;
Establish partnerships across the organization actively working as a business partner to drive improvement in financial and operational performance;
Drive continuous standardization and simplification of planning and forecasting processes;
Develop tools to drive better understanding of Brazils performance;
Build and analyze financial models to provide recommendations to senior leadership;
Own the end-to-end process of an expanding operations chain at Amazon leading strategic initiatives that support the accelerated growth of the fulfillment center network in Brazil.

- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience in Excel with advanced proficiency (pivots lookups etc.)
- Experience in financial planning budgeting or reporting;
- Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making;
- Multiple finance and accounting roles experience;
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses;
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results;

- Experience with Tableau Python SQB Quicksight Cognos or or other BI packages
- MBA or CPA
