| Job Summary: |
Supports all the functions of the Arizona Liquor Board by planning organizing reviewing and preparing files for hearings for the Board members; this includes agendas Notices of Hearings Notices of Decision Public Notices and Orders.
Must interact with applicants attorneys local governing bodies law enforcement and members of the public and attend all Board meetings.

Planning organizing reviewing and preparing files for hearings for the Board members; this includes agendas Notices of Hearings Notices of Decision Public Notices Minutes and Orders
Interacts with applicants attorneys local governing bodies law enforcement and members of the public and attends all Board meetings
Maintains data and statistics throughout all divisions of the Department and Board actions. Prepares the departments annual report
Assists with legislative research and assists in developing policies and procedures for use by the department and the board
Coordinates with training for new Board members and cooperates with the Governors office of boards and commissions to fill vacancies on the Board
| Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge:
Knowledge of organization principles and their practical application to government
Knowledge of rule writing processes and procedures; understanding of the legislative process ability to analyze data and draw conclusions knowledge of procedures for formal hearings and the format of legal documents
Skills:
Proficient in oral and written communication use of common software programs for office use ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with others
The ability to grasp ideas and concepts quickly knowledge and experience in handling matters of a confidential nature
Abilities:
Ability to work with various and diverse groups including licensee applicants protesters attorneys and law enforcement officers
Able to adapt to changes and developments in daily roles and responsibilities according to the needs of a complex yet small law enforcement agency

A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required
| Pre-Employment Requirements: |
Must maintain a valid Arizona drivers license to operate State vehicles if necessary
