Position:Assistant Girls Soccer Coach(SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Salary range: $3950$4910 stipend
Time Commitment:
- Six days a week
- Twenty to twenty-five hours a week
- Three games a week
- Season Length- 8/24/2026 11/23/2026

SUMMARY:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Girls Soccer Assistant Coach to coach the girls soccer team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence equity and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach the team they are assigned to
- Take over the duties and responsibilities of the head coach when not present
- Assist in coaching at practices and games
- Implement practice plans
- Oversee scouting of the opposition
- Be a liaison between the captain and the head coach
- Coordinate with the athletic office on the tasks of rosters awards and medical issues
- Promote teamwork and a positive work ethic amongst the soccer team
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- CPR certified
- NFHS concussion course completed
- Communicate clearly and effectively
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience coaching soccer
