Job Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Care (PCU)
Location: Atlanta GA
Job Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) Weekends Required No Block Scheduling
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Progressive Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for neuro and progressive care (stepdown) patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in a high-acuity setting
- Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and documentation in EPIC
- Respond to changes in patient status and escalate care when needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Support stabilization and recovery of stepdown patients
- Ensure safe and quality patient care delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years PCU or Neuro Stepdown experience required
- Neuro stepdown experience required (or strong Med-Surg with stepdown exposure considered)
- Active Georgia RN license
- NIHSS required
- ACLS and BLS required
- EPIC EMR experience required
