Job Summary

IPEX Inc. designs and manufactures one of the worlds most diverse lines of integrated thermoplastic piping systems--pipe valves fittings auxiliary components and tools--all engineered from the ground up to handle the full range of todays municipal industrial commercial and residential applications.

We are currently looking for a Red Seal Millwright to work in our Langley plant. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. We have a day shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or 12 hour day shifts from 7am-7pm on a 2x2-3x3 rotation.

Responsibilities:
Perform repairs troubleshooting and maintenance of machine shop industrial machinery and related equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery equipment and facilities.
Complete and maintain maintenance forms records and log books of the equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical air and hydraulic systems related to our equipment.
Isolate and identify causes of malfunctions on production equipment.
Keep maintenance shop area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Red Seal Millwright certificate and a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience on related repair maintenance and installation of equipment pertinent to a production shop environment.
A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail is a must.
Strong organizational and communication skills that include the ability to read comprehend ideas information complete reports and forms.
Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
Availability to work non-scheduled overtime for major breakdowns.
