Job Description Summary
Drive execution strategy for HDNU products and projects by leading scheduling optimization data analysis automation and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for developing standardized tools and processes across ITR teams maintaining GBOM and product standards and reducing engineering cycle time through close collaboration with HDPE Electrical Systems and Controls Engineering. The position also champions process improvement by challenging existing operating models eliminating waste and minimizing touchpoints and hand-offs to improve overall productivity.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Institute bid sell execute strategy for the HDNU product and projects.
Lead Schedule optimization and continuous improvement for HDNU scheduling templates and projects.
Data analysis and automation with continuous improvement mindset.
Develop and maintain tools and processes that drive consistency in the application of solutions across the ITR teams
Lead GBOM and product standard maintenance.
Lead Engineering cycle lead time through collaboration across HDPE Electrical Systems and Controls Engineering organizations.
Challenge status quo in terms of the current operating model / current processes always in search of a better more productive process waste and minimizing touch-times / hand-offs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
1-2 years of relevant engineering experience
Desired Characteristics
Gas Power Edison Engineer; Completion of LPX Teardown Training; Progress toward completion of Engineering Masters degree and/or ACE Certificate
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Established project management skills.
Gas turbine generator steam turbine HRSG product line knowledge; plant systems level knowledge.
Ability to work with global team.
Ability to drive projects to completion.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.
