Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendant to provide essential support and assistance to clients in Ypsilanti MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing dressing and grooming.
- Provide mobility assistance including transferring and positioning.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus but not needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
