| Major purpose: | Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds. Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems. Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds. Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure. Coordinating with vendors on contracted work. | | Major functions: | Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical Plumbing walls & floors. Utilizing ladders and lifts. Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA DOT ANSI OSHA etc. Proficient computer skills and MS Office. | | Technical/Functional skills: | Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. Must be capable of developing job knowledge/skills. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Faciliworks) OSHA NFPA EPA and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus. HVAC Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus. | |

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with handling confidential information and maintaining data privacy. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency with spreadsheets (excel) for tracking. Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of HR compliance requirements regarding employee records. Work Environment: This is a temporary position requiring on-site work to manage physical files. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. The schedule will be project-based and dependent on organizational needs. |
