Position Overview

seeking an experienced Systems Analyst Level 2 to support application development and data integration initiatives. The selected candidate will work on multiple concurrent projects collaborating with business and technical teams to analyze requirements design solutions and support system enhancements.

This is a security-sensitive role under Texas Labor Code Section 301.042. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze design and support multiple IT projects simultaneously
• Gather document and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with stakeholders
• Perform system configuration and support system enhancements
• Develop and execute test cases SIT and UAT plans
• Perform data analysis using SQL across multiple data sources
• Design and document data integrations interfaces and architectures
• Work with development teams to track defects and ensure resolution
• Support data mapping transformation and validation processes
• Develop training materials and documentation
• Assist in diagnosing application issues and improving system performance
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and documentation practices

Required Skills & Experience (4 7 Years)

• System integrations and data exchange interfaces
• SQL-based data analysis across multiple database technologies
• Data mapping and transformation
• Interface/architecture design and documentation
• Converting business requirements into technical specifications
• Data warehouse experience (relational & dimensional DB2 preferred)
• Data visualization requirements and reporting
• Writing detailed test cases SIT & UAT test plans
• End-to-end system validation
• XML JSON and API integrations
• REST/SOAP services and secure data exchange (SFTP certificates)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Visio)

• Experience with Unemployment Insurance (UI) or workforce systems
• Familiarity with SIDES modules (EVF ADF DD BC MPC)
• Experience with Natural programming language
• Public sector or government project experience
• Prior experience with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)
