RTR Senior Analyst
Job Summary
About This Role:
As a Senior Associate II on the Global Business Services Record to Report team you will play a pivotal role in managing general ledger operations for our affiliates ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. This position involves handling cash and treasury reconciliations accounts receivable transactions fixed asset activity payroll prepayments and accruals as well as recording revenue and expenses. By providing precise monthly and quarterly financial reports including Profit and Loss Balance Sheet and other critical financial packages you will contribute significantly to the financial integrity and transparency of our operations. Your expertise will be essential in supporting strategic financial decisions and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
What Youll Do:
- Calculate and post journal entries for BIG5 and LATAM markets.
- Provide comprehensive reporting of Profit and Loss Balance Sheet and various financial schedules.
- Prepare Corporate Income Tax and other tax templates.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for BIG5 and LATAM markets.
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial analyses.
- Collaborate with consultants to prepare statutory financial statements.
- Run Intercompany transactions including Tax True-ups and Cost of Goods Sold invoices.
- Supply data and explanations for internal and external auditors.
- Engage in continuous process improvements to enhance financial operations.

Required Skills:
- University degree in Finance (preferred in Accountancy area).
- 5 years experience in international accounting.
- Experience working in Shared Service Centers or Business Process Outsourcing environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in AP/AR/CM/FA processes.
- Experience with SOX Internal Controls design and testing.
- Statutory reporting process experience.
- Good knowledge of Oracle R12.
- Proficiency in MS Office package especially Outlook and Excel.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional qualifications in accounting (ACCA/CIMA exams preferred National Association of Accountants) will be an asset.
