Job Summary
Full-Time Maternity Coverage for Veterinary Assistant
Pawsitive Veterinary Care is looking for an energetic worker with a passion for animals to assist in day-to-day practice flow. The ideal candidate has animal experience interpersonal skills strong work ethic computer skills and customer service. The role includes the following duties:
- animal restraint and husbandry
- assisting veterinarians technicians and clients
- cleaning and sterilization procedures
- laboratory sample handling
- anesthesia and surgical assistance
- customer service: phone calls client education
Must be confident in animal handling for both cats and dogs.
Details
Maternity coverage starting May 2026 contract ending August-December 2027.
Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday/Tuesday/Friday and 9am to 6pm on Wednesday/Thursday.

$18 - $23 an hour
