Job Description Radford University Libraries seeks a detail-oriented staff member who excels in both independent and collaborative work environments. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy effective time management and clear communication with colleagues. The Technical Services Specialist is responsible for ordering and managing books ebooks physical media and streaming media for Radford University Libraries. The position supports the discovery and access of library resources through copy cataloging electronic resource maintenance and accurate recordkeeping. This role works both independently and collaboratively and reports to the Head of Collection and Technical Services. This position reports to the Head of Collection and Technical Services and follows a MondayFriday schedule with the option for up to 8 hours of telework per week. |
Required Qualifications Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy. |
Preferred Qualifications: Experience editing MARC bibliographic and/or holdings records. |
