Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Jeffersonville IN.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime as required including some weekends

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations for a small team
• Support shipping receiving storing counting packaging and distribution of materials and merchandise
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Coordinate movement of supplies products and materials between departments and workstations
• Pull count weigh identify and verify materials to ensure proper storage tagging and order accuracy
• Check incoming and outgoing materials against invoices bills of lading customer orders and related documents
• Maintain accurate records of materials received issued and shipped including discrepancies damaged goods and inventory activity
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed
• Operate warehouse equipment used for moving labeling weighing sealing and packaging materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills including addition subtraction fractions and decimals
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to sit stand walk stoop bend kneel squat and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lead and direct a small team in a warehouse environment

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly required to operate material handling equipment and handle products
• Ability to regularly lift push pull and/or carry up to 25 pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

• Previous warehouse shipping or receiving experience in a lead role

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporations total compensation and benefits package for employee.
