Job Summary
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Funding Team Member to join our growing team. This role supports U.S.-based personal injury cases by reviewing processing and managing pre-settlement funding requests. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in personal injury and a strong understanding of legal case flow. Legal assistant experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process pre-settlement funding applications for personal injury cases
- Analyze case details documentation and risk factors to support funding decisions
- Communicate with attorneys law firms and clients to gather required information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
- Track case progress and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items
- Assist with verifying case status liens and settlement updates
- Ensure compliance with company policies and funding guidelines
Qualifications:
- Required: Prior experience working with U.S. personal injury cases
- Strong understanding of personal injury case lifecycle and terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role
- Experience with case management systems and legal documentation
- Familiarity with medical records billing and liens related to PI cases
