What Youll Be Doing

Reporting to theAssistant Controller youll support core accounting reporting and operational functions across the group.

Financial Reporting & Close

• Prepare and analyzemonthly financial statementsand supporting schedules
• Performvariance analysis(actual vs. budget) and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Prepare and postjournal entries accruals and adjustments
• CompleteGL and bank reconciliationswith clear auditready documentation

Job Costing & Operations Support

• Supportjob costing processes including cost tracking and variance identification
• Partner withoperations and project teamsto respond to cost and accounting inquiries
• Provide financial insight to support informed project decisions

Audit Tax & Compliance

• Prepareworking papers lead schedules and audit documentation
• Assist withGST and PST filings
• Supportinternal controls policies and process improvements

General Accounting & Team Collaboration

• Assist withAP AR payroll and cash managementas required
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet reporting deadlines
• Participate inad hoc projects and crossfunctional initiatives

What You Bring

Required

• CPA designation (CPA Canada)
• Minimum4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience withreconciliations working papers and audit preparation
• Knowledge ofjob costing or projectbased accounting
• Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel
• Strong analytical organizational and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively

Considered an Asset

• Experience withAcumatica or similar ERP systems
• Background inconstruction infrastructure or projectbased industries

• Salary:$75000 $90000 annually
