Your Role in Supporting Our Members:â
VanCityis modernizing financial systems with secure real-time and scalable a Senior Integration Engineer with deepexpertisein Azure Integration Services and Microsoft technologies. Ifyourepassionate about building robust high-performance backend services using C# and Azure Serverless and want to shape the future of financial infrastructure we want to meet you.

Youlldesign develop andmaintainenterprise integrations using Azure Logic Apps Functions Service Bus and API closely with product managers engineers and compliance teams to deliver secure performant and scalable solutions that meet the rigorous standards of the finance industry. Leadership experience and afinancebackground are highly valued.

This is aâFull-time Permanentrolewill report directly toSenior ManagerIntegration Platform. Our head office is based in Vancouver but we are open to candidates in BC and this position is for an existing vacancy and provides a hybrid work arrangement you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands when needed.

How Youll MakeâanâImpact:â

• Implementingmaintain andarchitectbackend integration workflows using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps Functions Service Bus API Management) and C#.

• Designingand supportingeventâdriven architectures using Azure Event Hubs and/or Kafka including message schemas ordering retries deadâletter handling and resiliency patterns.

• Buildingscalable objectâoriented backend servicesleveragingAzure Serverless and cloudânative design patterns.

• Optimizingintegration solutions for performance reliability and costâeffectiveness. Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics.

• Ensuringintegration solutions meet enterprise security and compliance requirements including OAuth2 Azure AD RBAC encryption and secure API and messaging practices.

• Collaboratingwith teams using MuleSoft and other integration platforms to design integrate and support hybrid solutions across technologies.

• Drivingcontinuous improvement in integration patterns CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code.

• Maintainingclear technical documentation andprovidetroubleshooting and support for production and nonâproduction integration environments.

• Applyingknowledge of financial services processes data integrity and regulatory requirements to all integration work.

• Exploringemerging tools and approaches in event streaming orchestration automation and AIâassisted integration applying them pragmatically whenappropriate.

WhatâYoullâBring toâthe Team:â

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering ora relatedfield

• 7 years of backend software development experience with strongexpertisein C# and Microsoft Azure

• Strong objectâoriented programming skills and experience building scalable backend services

• Experience designing and implementing eventâdriven architectures including messaging and asynchronous processing

• Deep handsâon experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps Functions Service Bus API Management)

• Proficiencywith Azure Serverless architectures and cloudânative integration patterns

• Solid understanding of API security authentication authorization and secure integration practices

• Familiarity with financialâservicessecurity compliance and audit requirements

• Excellent problemâsolving communication and collaboration skills

• Experience migrating integrations or APIs from MuleSoft to Azure Integration Services

• Handsâon experience modernizing MuleSoft APIs or flows into Azureânative or serverless architectures

• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring in Azure environments

WhatYoullEarn:

This role offersa salary rangeofâ$101200 to $130900âper annum.The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications skillspreviousexperience and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program subject to program eligibility requirements.
