• Hours: 37.540 hours/week (All billable)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support a collaborative and community-focused school district. This role involves conducting evaluations supporting IEP processes and working closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes.

Key Details

• Setting: School District (PreK12)
• Caseload: 1700 students district-wide 220 IEPs
• Work Model: Itinerant across select schools
• Schools: 3 Elementary 1 Middle 1 High School
• Team: Established on-site Psychologist
• Note: No counseling responsibilities required

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
• Interpret data and prepare detailed reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
• Provide academic and behavioral recommendations
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland School Psychologist License (in hand)
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education laws
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-site or rural school settings
• Familiarity with various assessment tools
• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule
