Job Summary
About the role
Based in the North/North-West of Tasmania you will be responsible for delivering both WHS partnering and WHS training across Hydro Tasmanias operations. Within this dynamic role you will work with leaders and teams in both field and office environments to strengthen safety culture embed safe systems of work and provide practical WHS guidance.
Salary range $117986 - $136778 plus super

Key responsibilities
Support managers to ensure WHS activities are undertaken and performed consistently
Influence safe behaviours across employees and contractors by leading key WHS initiatives
Deliver effective WHS induction and training programs
Build and maintain successful relationships relevant to the roles purpose and contribute the accomplishing WHS team goals

Skills & experience
- Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment highly regarded
- Strong demonstrated experience developing and delivering WHS training and induction programs
- Experience with coaching and mentoring related to WHS
- Strong people skills with the ability to build strong and effective relationships
