What will you do

TheProject Managerwill reporttothe Head of PMO (3FTE) and willbe responsible fordelivery of projects or clearly defined programswithin the Project Management Office (PMO). The role translates agreedobjectivesscopeand strategic intent into executable plans and ensures delivery within predefined constraints.

This Project Manager role is deliberately defined without reference to a single delivery discipline and expected tooperateacross strategic support portfolio management programmanagementand project management withspecificfocus varying depending on the initiative andorganizationalpriorities. The ideal candidateretainsstrong analyticalgovernanceand structuring skills while taking ownership of delivery stakeholderalignmentand execution outcomes.

In this role the ProjectManager willwork inmultidisciplinary projectteams and is accountable for planning execution risk and dependency management stakeholdercoordinationand adoption activities. The focus is ondeliveryexcellence withinlargelyboundproblem spaces whereobjectivesand success criteria are typically clear at the outset. Where required the ProjectManager escalates ambiguity or strategic trade-offs or takes ownership of these directly.
Strategicformulation portfolioprioritizationand ultimate responsibility for PMO capabilitiesremainwith the Head of PMO.Appointment to the Project Manger role assumesdemonstratedcapability tooperateat PMO Analyst level across strategic portfolio and delivery contexts.

You are a results-drivenwithportfolio program and projectmanagement skills strategicinsightand a hands-on mindset. Youcannavigatecomplexity multidisciplinaryorganizationtransformation projects whileconsideringthe systemic andbehavioralaspects of change andcan act independentlywithin the mentioned practice areas of a also bring:

• atleast35years ofrelevantexperienceinportfolio program and project management preferably in professional services of international organizations;

• essential skills include planning coordination stakeholdermanagementand riskhandling;

• strong interpersonal and communicationskills;

• fluency in Dutch and English;

• a completed higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO)degree;

• projectmanagementcertifications.

As a Project Manager you will be based inAmsterdamoffice. You will report to the Head of PMO within a team of three collaborating with various business functions(such as IT Finance & Control HR Communications and Commercial & Legal Excellence)and external partners.
