POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintain and/oroperateall pipeline facilities including valves piping pigging activities shut-ins for maintenance/construction and operations linelocateactivities general system operation monitoring right-of-way and inspection of third-party activities meter stations and regulator stations. This position will beto learn all modes of station operations.This position at times will also betoassistwith monitoring andmaintainingadditionalequipment associated with and not limited to remote compressor stations valve sites natural gasenginesand compressors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures compliance with operating procedures and regulations andmaintains/repairs pipeline equipment as needed
Commissions start-up and shutdown of pipelines andperformsleak surveys of the pipeline system
Installs pipeline markers and performs routine inspections onrights-of-ways
Locates pipelines and oversees excavations and line crossings
Records andmaintainsoperating data completes required reports and creates work orders as needed
Must be successful in completing required Operator Qualified tests (OQ) for covered tasks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license
Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Must be able to work nightsweekendsand holidays
