Job Summary
Fondomonte South America S.A. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) to join our operations team. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on agricultural and industrial machinery ensuring equipment availability and optimal performance in line with company standards and safety procedures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tractors and heavy machinery (oil changes filter replacement engine repairs hydraulic systems and transmissions).
- Conduct basic diagnostics to identify mechanical issues such as leaks noises or failures and report findings to the supervisor.
- Safely operate hand electric pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and work areas (housekeeping standards).
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs detailing spare parts used and time spent on each task.
Requisitos
- Mechanical Technician (preferably with specialization in agricultural machinery or diesel engines).
- 12 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or agricultural machinery.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Diesel and gasoline engines
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Transmissions and powertrain
- Basic automotive electricity
- Agricultural machinery
- Diesel and gasoline engines
- Experience using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Proactive mindset with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Vicente Córdoba Argentina and have availability to work on-site.
