Janitorial Services Assistant
Classification: Part Time Flex
Pay Rate: $21.07/HR
Work Schedule: Mornings Evenings or weekends
Work Location: On-site/Bainbridge Island Campus
Benefit PackageThis position is eligible to receive Sick & Safe leave with a maximum annual accrual of40 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setupsand breakdownsincluding lifting and moving furniture
- Event cleaning routine cleaningand occasional deep cleaning projects
- Scheduled turnovers and cleaning of classrooms bathrooms dining room and other buildings
- Cleaning mopping window cleaning waste removal recycling separation
- Communicateinventory and equipment statustotheHospitalityServicesManager
- Campussecurity andnightlylock-upofbuildings; evening emergency assistance
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of6 monthsexperience ofprofessional janitor workin thehospitality industry
- Be able to understand and follow safety guidelines
- Must be physically able to walk stand bend twist turn kneel stoop climb ladders and stairs
- Able to use hand tools and push lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Washington State drivers license and ability to obtain any licenses required for system or vehicle operation
